Asked to make a "cricket theme' cake I was given creative freedom - the end result!

Two Peas in a Pod

 

 

My sister is pregnant expecting identical twin girls and in anticipation an afternoon tea (Baby Shower) was enjoyed.

Under the handmade decorations is a caramel mud cake filled with dark chocolate ganache.



Bright and Cheery....Happy 21st!

Birthday Belle

My niece Ruby is turning 5 and to celebrate she asked me to make a "Belle" cake that looked like her in the Belle dress my husband and I gave her for Christmas.

Hidden underneath the vanilla bean buttercream is a marbled (pink and yellow) butter cake.

Giddy Up.......

My family are big fans of country music and for over 30 years my father and sister have attended the Tamworth Country Music Festival, but with an expanding family this year's pilgrimage was missed.

With their birthday's only a few days apart I decided to bring the Country to them.  The cake is a crowd pleaser, Devils Food Chocolate filled with dark chocolate ganache and decorated with fondant.   The belt, buckle and hat are all handmade and completely edible.

Right on que....Happy 50th Birthday

To celebrate the 50th birthday of a military band member I was asked to make a cake with a musical theme including a french horn.
