Harry Potter (21st) Cake

A friend asked if I could make his son's 21st Birthday Cake and requested - chocolate, the 'Harry Potter Sorting Hat' and basically anything 'Harry Potter' related.

Devils Food Chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate ganache and covered with fondant.  The 'Sorting Hat' was made with krispy treats, yes 100% edible and homemade, finished with chocolate buttercream and chocolate flavoured fondant.

To accompany the cake were 21 chocolate cupcakes iced with dark chocolate buttercream and decorated with handmade fondant scarves, books and brooms.
