Marry me........

Some close friends recently became engaged during a trip to New York and I was a asked to make a cake using the colours of their favourite football team - the Cronulla Sharks.

I was allowed a little bit of creative freedom with the design  and suggested the New York skyline as a remembrance of the location of the 'proposal' ......

Caramel mud cake filled with dark chocolate ganache decorated with a classic Hawaiian design.

70's Disco.....

I don't need to say too much about the theme of this cake; - '70's!!!

The bottom tier is chocolate mud cake filled with dark chocolate ganache and the top tier is  white chocolate mud cake filled with white chocolate ganache.

Sacred Heart

To celebrate a Sister of Mercy's 70th Jubilee, I was asked to include the 'Sacred Heart' and the Nun's motto - Abide in Me in Mary. I chose a contemporary design with bright colours to celebrate the occassion.

Vanilla bean cake filled with vanilla bean buttercream, covered and decorated with fondant.

Frozen......

My beautiful niece requested a 'let it go' cake (aka Disney's Frozen) to celebrate her 4th birthday. The cake is chocolate and filled with dark chocolate ganache.

Cars....Happy 3rd Birthday

Chocolate mud filled with dark chocolate ganache and brightly decorated with  a Disney 'Cars' theme. Chocolate cup cakes with vanilla bean buttercream accompaniend the cake.  

The birthday boy's favourite character Lightening McQueen was later placed on the cake.
