Keep on running

To celebrate the 70th birthday of a fellow runner, I was given creative freedom to design a 'running theme' cake for the occasion. The chocolate fudge cake featured hand painted shoe prints, a 'race bib' and medal.

Frozen #2.......

In case you were not aware most little girls (and some boys) love anything related to the movie 'Frozen' at the moment.  This cake is very similar to a previous 'Frozen' theme cake I made and I'm sure I will be doing it again!

The bottom tier is a chocolate fudge cake filled with dark chocolate ganache, topped with a vanilla bean cake filled with dark chocolate ganache.

Superhero Cake.....

So who is your superhero?  Hugo will be the superhero of the day,  celebrating his birthday with a 'Batman' cake.

Skate Park.....Happy 11th Birthday!

Callum was in for a bit of birthday surprise with this 'skate park' theme cake. The cake is white chocolate mud filled with white chocolate ganache, decorated with various fondant features and finished with Callum's very own skateboards and bike!

Some close friends recently became engaged during a trip to New York and I was a asked to make a cake using the colours of their favourite football team - the Cronulla Sharks.

I was allowed a little bit of creative freedom with the design  and suggested the New York skyline as a remembrance of the location of the 'proposal' ......
